the BOTTOMLINE on Illegal Immigration…
Okay… let me preface this by saying that when I 1st ran up on BottomLine off of Twitter.com I thought he was a pain in the butt and that he wasn’t open to hearing what we on the other side of the bridge had to say on political issues; specifically, Obama v. McCain and their respective political parties…
Smile, however, after sharing a few ideas, throwing out our ideas/ opinions here and there, I’ve come to really respect BottomLine… smile…
We don’t agree on much, however, do we really have to? Smile… the BottomLine is that we can agree to disagree, and with that being said, we have an exchange to make with one another in regards to illegal immigration.

bottomline John McCain does not support amnesty or benefits for undocumented immigrants.

My take on the whole issues of illegal immigration is simple…
1) If you don’t feel like waiting in line like everyone else, take that bundled up energy and spend it on changing your own country so can stay there…
2) On one hand, illegal immigrants are being taken advantage of. In a sense, they are willing to do the jobs that American’s aren’t willing to do, but this is only because American businesses have resorted to paying their workers close to nothing. No American citizen, fully understanding what his/her rights are is going to devalue themselves and or the quality of their work for less than minimum wage!! Not even the desperate of the most DESPERATE!!
3) The only way to really rectify this situation is catch and fine any and every Company that hires illegal immigrants. This fine is to be assessed per illegal, per day.
Ignorance of an employees status is not an excuse… Ignorance of the law is not an excuse… And Simply Playing Ignorant is not an excuse and isn’t going to fly!!!
4) Any apartment complex, landlord, hotel/ motel or holiday inn that rents rooms to illegals need to get fined per day per person.
5) No Driver’s Licenses are to be given, but instead a special identification card that has a strip on the back of it that contains their information (physical identification, blood type, criminal history, their status - children or no children, married or single, and so on… and so on!
6) If anyone commits a crime, they are sent to Gitmo! Hell, and if they kill an American citizen, automatic death sentence!
7) Illegal immigrants that deal in drugs, death penalty… dealing illegal drugs is like slowly killing an American citizen… It doesn’t matter if the person voluntarily consumes the drug… you can’t arrest a person for killing themselves as this is a mental psychosis that needs to be handled!!
Since a criminal can not benefit from the notion of “The Fruit of The Poisonous Tree” then why the H.E. Double HOCKEY STICKS are we allowing criminals in this instants benefit from their illegal actions…

I see you were working on it too. Your points are very good, although I think #6 and #7 need refinement (they wouldn’t get through congress worded quite like that :). So here we go.
I set up a library of resources at borderfix.blogspot.com and I want to take time now to look closer at some of the resources, especially the link to the entire list of legislation, and solutions others are recommending.
With the great start you’ve made, you should have something you can send to your elected officials soon.
